Steps to Setup Roadrunner Email Account 

Creating a Roadrunner email account is the first stage to go. Follow these steps to create an email account through Roadrunner:

  • Click 'My accounts' on the Roadrunner app after opening it.

  • Pick 'Add Account' from the menu. 

  • Using the 'Set-up accounts' option, choose the 'Email' icon. 

  • Type your full Roadrunner email address next, followed by the domain '@—-.gg.in’. 

  • Note that all the characters are lowercase. 

  • After that, enter the Roadrunner password in the box provided. 

  • Skip the 'Automatically configure account' option after that. 

  • Click "Next" 

  • The email server will be connected to your phone.

Roadrunner Email Settings with IMAP Server

IMAP stands for Internet message access protocol. It manages email stored on a mail server in real time. In simple language, it acts as a bridge between email servers and service providers.

Follow these steps for the Roadrunner.com email settings:

  1. Start the email Application on your device. 

  2. Type Roadrunner email credentials details like ID & password. 

  3. Select the manual setup option and untick the “Automatically Configuration” box.  

  4. Choose the IMAP server settings option for Roadrunner email and fill in the below give configuration-  

  • Make "IMAP" your account type. 

  • Server Receiving Mail: mail.twc.com 

  • Port 143 for the incoming mail server 

  • Choose SSL/TLS as the Security Type. 

  • Mail.twc.com is the outgoing server. 

  • SMTP Outgoing Server Port: 587 

  • No security type 

  • Non-secure port: 

  • Type the email address for Roadrunner.  

  • Uncheck Choose a secure server. 

  • Opt-Out of Verified Certificate box 

  • Press "Next" after entering your full Roadrunner email and password.  

  • Specify the account name you wish to see on your desktop. 

  • Then click the "Done" button. 

Note: SMTP stands for simple mail transfer protocol which is used by email clients for sending emails. 

Roadrunner Email Settings With POP3 Server

POP stands for post office protocol is an older email protocol used for decades. This server is suitable for users who access their email from a single device like a desktop. Emails once downloaded using POP3 get removed from server storage and clear space for new messages.

Follow the below steps for Roadrunner email POP3 server settings:

  • Go to Roadrunner webmail and select the ‘settings’ option. 

  • Select POP3 Settings from the manual server settings by going there. 

  • Accounts should be POP3. 

  • Mail.twc.com serves as the receiving mail server. 

  • POP3 is the incoming server port type, with port number 995. 

  • No security type 

  • For outgoing mail the SMTP server is mail.twc.com. 

  • 587 is the outgoing server port. 

  • Select Security Type once more: None 

  • Provide your full email address followed by your email password for the incoming and outgoing user names.  

  • Click the "Done" button. Your Roadrunner email's POP server configuration is now successful.
